It beggars belief but some fisherman are starting to realize what exiting the EU customs union really meant for their business. You may have 25% more fish if you believe Johnson but then you have also new health certificates, customs declarations, and other paperwork for a perishable food whose value is influenced by how fresh it is when it reaches the customers. Those also who you have just shown the proverbial finger.

Of course this was discussed time and time again but dismissed as project fear. So now we have fishermen beginning to think about their business towards EU and the traffic between Wales and Ireland for some other (other? or the equivalent opposite same?) reason significantly diminishing.

I guess this is good news for the GB market. The one where we have taken back control with a few more borders. I can think very soon of a McDonald Filet-O-British fish campaign. More fishcakes for GB customers.
